Energy Managment

How would you like to keep your home

comfortable and save money on your energy bill?

HAI is a leader in promoting energy efficiency within the home environment by providing ways to reduce energy consumption while maximizing comfort.

Heating and Air Conditioning

According to the US Department of Energy approximately 56% of an average home's energy usage is for its heating and air conditioning (HVAC) system. Using an HAI Omnistat2 thermostat will reduce your home energy costs.

Omnistat2 thermostats let you automatically schedule your heating and air conditioning settings based upon the day of the week and time of day. They allow you to set back temperatures when you are not home and to warm/cool the home to your desired temperature for when you return home.

Omnistat2 thermostats learn the heating and cooling patterns of your home using an advanced process developed by HAI in conjunction with the US Department of Energy. By learning these patterns the Omnistat2 maximizes the efficiency of your HVAC system to keep your home at the comfortable temperature that you have set.

When used with a participating utility, Omnistat2 thermostats have the ability to communicate with your electric meter to show the current cost of energy, how much energy you have used, and how much your utility bill will be this month. All Omnistat2 thermostats display real-time energy usage in graph format.

Proper humidity control is another important aspect of remaining comfortable while saving energy. The RC-2000 Omnistat2 thermostat has a built-in humidity sensor and can control humidifiers/dehumidifiers.
HAI offers temperature and humidity sensors for temperature based control of attics, garages, greenhouses, basements, wine cellars, or coolers. Water temperature sensors may be used to supervise and manage pool or spa temperatures.

Use any Omnistat2 thermostat as stand-alone or integrate it with an HAI home control system.
Using an HAI Home Control System you can change Omnistat2 thermostat settings based upon events, time, or sensor readings. Moreover, since HAI home control systems provide remote access via both telephone and over the Internet you may access your home at any time and change your thermostat settings.

Convenience
When connected to an HAI home control system, lights and an HAI thermostat may be controlled locally, or via a Touchscreen, the Internet, Smartphone, or a telephone.
  • Your HAI home control system can turn off lights, water heaters and pumps when the house is unoccupied. Additionally, you can control ceiling and ventilation fans for comfort and energy efficiency.

  • Log into your home anytime via the Internet using HAI software to monitor energy usage and change your temperature and light settings.

  • If you are leaving early from work, call your system to set temperatures and lights to comfortable levels. Or use Snap-Link Mobile on your Smartphone to graphically view and control your lights and temperature. Great option for vacation homes!
